SECURITY POLICY

Optimum-MBA is committed to ensuring the personal safety of our visitors, clients, commercial partners, employees and other parties with whom we come in to contact during our activities and to minimise the potential for loss and harm from theft, fraud, damage and unauthorised access to confidential information.

In order to achieve this;
It will be the responsibility of all line management to ensure that the policy and supporting arrangements are being effectively implemented and that suitable information, instruction and training is being provided.
Environmental scanning will identify all relevant legislation, commercial standards and best practice that support the security policy. Optimum-MBA as a minimum will incorporate legislation, standards and best practice as the foundation of all policies.

Optimum-MBA will identify new technologies and equipment that can support the continuing effectiveness of this policy.
By the management of the Optimum-MBA recruitment and vetting process the company will endeavor to ensure that only staff of the highest integrity are employed within the organisation and its partners.
We will consult with employees, our partners, clients and others with relevance to security issues.
Security management is an integral part of Optimum-MBA management and will be incorporated into the company IMS.
An annual management review will demonstrate the effectiveness of arrangements and provide the platform for continuous improvement.

With the intention of preventing breaches of security and reducing their impact should they occur, employees, clients and our partners are being encouraged to utilise the Optimum-MBA Abnormal Event System in support of this policy.
The organisation’s current strategic business plan and risk management framework provide the context for identifying, assessing, evaluating and controlling information-related risks.
In particular, business continuity and contingency plans, data back up procedures, avoidance of viruses and hackers, access control to systems and information security incident reporting are fundamental to this policy.
The Senior Executive responsible for security will review this Policy as part of our management review process and provide a written report on security performance to the Board of Directors. Changes made to the Policy will be communicated to all employees and relevant stakeholders
