ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Optimum-MBA is committed to the prevention of pollution and the prevention of environmental degradation. Environmental considerations will be systematically integrated into the planning and decision-making process.

Environmental legislation will be used as a benchmark for the minimum standards to be achieved.

This policy is underpinned by:

  • Identifying environmental aspects and impacts associated with Company activities, products and services.
  • A requirement to set objectives for each project to minimise waste, conserve energy, protect water resources, minimise ground contamination, protect wildlife/natural features, control emissions to air and chemical usage as well as minimise nuisance from noise, vibration, dust and odour.
  • Ensuring employees are consulted and informed and have the requisite knowledge and skills to enable them to take personal responsibility to help protect the environment.
  • A green contractor selection and supply chain strategy.
  • Continual improvement and integration with Company management system.
  • Controls and areas of measurement in place to deliver the Policy objectives:
  • Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Key Performance Indicators
  • Training
  • Pre-Qualification
  • Auditing and Review

Optimum-MBA employees, at every level, are responsible and accountable for translating the Company objectives into positive, productive actions. The Senior Executive responsible for the environment will review this Policy as part of our management review process and provide a written report on environment performance to the Board of Directors. Changes made to the Policy will be communicated to all employees and relevant stakeholders.
